Weren't those "Hot Flash Follies" GREAT???  Thank you Jan for putting that show together for us again.  I believe everyone enjoyed seeing them.  I know I'm extremely jealous of their looks and talent, (and most of them are older than me...).

Our "Jewel of the Nile" Fashion Show chairs, Carol Vaughn & Shirley Beuttas and all the committees are working very hard to make this an event not to be missed.  Don't forget the tickets for the show go on sale at the lodge prior to our next meeting on February 15th at 7:00 a.m.

Mark you calendars for the pre-fashion show parties.  These parties are excellent ways to get to know our fellow members better and a great way to spend an hour or two while enjoying fun, food, and drinks.  Plus, you are helping to support the fabulous fashion show.  The first party will be at the home of Cheryl Ritsema on February 24, 2012.  There are three additional parties being planned; March 5th at Joannie Sundstrom's, March 30th at Dorothy Griswold's and April 13th at Ann Custer's.  Hope you can make at least one, if not all of these fun events.

My main concern this month is the new menu for our lunches.  I'm currently trying to work with "the powers to be" to see what we can have that's within our $14 budget.  At the moment the only thing is the Soup and Pasta Salad that we had in January.  It was very good and unless something else comes up really fast, that's what we'll have this month with maybe a different soup.
